Why Pro is priced around cost, not seats

Design Beaver already knows what every block in your diagram is, which means it can say what that architecture costs before you build it — per service, at current regional rates, projected across six and twelve months. That number changes design decisions: swapping a NAT Gateway for a VPC endpoint, or an always-on instance for something serverless, stops being an argument and starts being arithmetic.

Terraform and CDK export come from the same place. The diagram already carries the services, their connections and their configuration — and it has been checked against real AWS rules — so emitting infrastructure code from it is a shorter step than writing it by hand and hoping the review catches the mistakes.

None of that is built yet, which is why there’s no number on this page. When there is one, it will be here first.
